White Halftrack Armored Car

Just after World War Two US Army Military Police near Washington, D.C. converted four M3 halftracks into wheeled armored cars.

This is my Roco Minitanks version of that vehicle.

I used Paul Heiser Models 2 1/2 ton truck wheels for the track replacements.

It also features a skate rail for the machine gun rather than the pulpit style machine gun mount.

It turned out so well, I decided to make the other three.

Getting primer painted.

 Next it's time for olive drab and detail painting.
