I have always like the two Babes in Toyland movies. I am using Eagle Games 1/72nd scale horses for a project based on the movies.
One is Laurel and Hardy in 1934. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_3C0l2gyuM They both have great fight scenes with toy soldiers versus the villain.
The other was a Disney movie from 1961. Scroll down on the link for a clip. https://movies.disney.com/babes-in-toyland The Eagle Games horses need a little work to make the bottom of the base level.
Run over it with knife blade.
Then a little sanding stick work. It give the base some texture so it will take glue better.
Then I use the horse bases as a measuring tool and the straight edge to cut the plastic I will use for the base. These will be old time toy soldier horses with a base that has wheels on the bottom. I will glue the Eagle Games base on a styrene sheet plastic base. Then I will add the wheels.
