Paul Heiser Models HO scale Sherman tank M4A2 diesel engine with 75mm gun.
This is an all plastic kit, note the track link and road wheels are separate pieces that can be placed anywhere on the tank or even left off.
It goes together easily, I use Plastruct Plastic Weld General Purpose Plastic Solvent Cement to assemble the model. It seems to make a stronger bond than super glues or regular model glue.
Rear view, the tools are also separate pieces and can be moved or left off the kit. The rear tank wall is typical of the diesel version.
Bottom view.
Note the diesel engine deck grill, a big difference between this is and the Roco Sherman is the correct engine deck. The turret can be swapped with the Roco if you want a Sherman without the pistol port. Note there are three hatch choices with this model, the split hatch as seen here, or the commanders cupola with view ports, and the optional loaders hatch which goes in the big open space on the top of the turret. The loaders hatch was in real life made as a kit and could be installed in tanks already in the service.
