New Hats and Infra-Red
These hard plastic figures are copies of the old Airfix USAAF figures military police officer. But with no billy club. So I added one with a rod of styrene.
Here are the same figures with a head swap giving them the M1917 style helmet for use from 1917 to about 1943.
Again, with the Smoky the Bear hat, from 1911 until now for some units, but common in the US from 1916 to 1945.
These guys get the service cap, or bus driver cap, worn by the US mostly in winter uniform from WWI to WWII. They look more like city cops this way!
Three out of four together.
A couple Esci hard plastic figures converted to the infra-red version of the carbine for the Korean War.
Standing firing.
Two poses together.
