American Civil War by Strelets
Strelets new US Infantry on the March. Not actually "Marsh."
Another ACW set with three sprues of infantry and one command sprue.
These men are ready to deploy for combat.
They have their bayonets affixed to their rifle muskets.
The Infantry in the attack set would go as the first couple ranks...
Then these guys to the rear waiting to be a bit farther along before they attack.
This command groups gives us a fife and drum team. Musicians were usually young men, sometimes even boys.
Musicians were also considered non-combatants and so the enemy should not shoot at them.
Different flag bearer in this set from the attack set.
I like the variety of getting all these different sets, it is really going to jump start my ACW collection which has languished for a long time.
