Roco Minitanks M60 tank hull with Boley M1 Abrams side skirts.
They are getting painted.
I did five of them so I could have a platoon of them. In reality only one was constructed and since the project did not sell and the Cold War was over, it was dis-assembled and returned to the Army.
Had the Cold War continued and particularly if it had gone hot, I think they would have been manufactured.
I used Rust-Oleum Deep Forest Green.

So basically, M60 hulls with Abrams turrets fixed to them (Real World, that would no actually work as the turret rings have a different diamenter.
The early Abrams did, in fact, use the 105mm M68 gun from the M60 family, but only until the Rheinmetal 120mm smoothbore became available.
This was a real vehicle. They made one fully operational version as a demonstrator but no one wanted to buy them to upgrade their M60 fleet. The Abrams was not much more expensive and with the Cold War ending there was no precised need for it.
Thanks for reading Tankguy.
