The infantry is taking up positions but have not dug in yet.
The cylinder sits in the hole it created when it crashed.
Many from the town went out to see it and some are digging around to look for markings or openings.
Some people brought their families but since it has been here a day, the crowed has thinned out some.
Many people are worried about it and so they brought guns.
But around here, most people carry a shooting iron anyway.
The regular Army sent a few men forward to scout out the location and get an idea of the threat posed by this visitor.
