The war machines begin to move out from the cylinder.
Are they headed for the town, or for the Army troops in the field!
A pitiful few survivors arrive in town to tell their tale of death.
The townspeople arm themselves, ready to defend their homes.
The cylinder is far off, but two small bursts show where the Army artillery shells have landed.
They are short and the command is given to increase range and fire again!
Closer but still a little short, can they defeat these terrible war machines?
