Cops and Cop Cars
As part of my US Army 1938 project I am trying to put together police forces for the same era.
Matchbox came out with this interesting car model.
A great looking cop car from just the right era.
Very good looking machine.
Cop cars should have a running board!
Best of all, it's not made in China.
Here it is with a partner and an Airfix soldier.
I took an Airfix WWI US Army soldier....
And switched his head with an Airfix WWI British soldier.
It makes him look like a 1930's American police officer.

Mike:
Another good find w/ those police cars.
A 1933 PLYMOUTH? That's a diecast you don't see.
And NOT made in China...lol. Love that!
(again, don't see THAT too often)
Now, if they'd make some 1930's era FORDS (getaway cars?)...or mane more police cars from that era.
(we can hope)
Carry on.
Hope springs eternal.
