Building
The last few years I have been purchasing Christmas and Halloween buildings from Dollar Tree and sometimes Jo Anns.
They have gradually been getting smaller and smaller.
This past year half of them were closer to 1/100 to 1/72 or HO 1/87 scale.
This is one of the good ones.
It says flower shop, but will work as almost any city retail, residential business.

Something I've noted as well. My father collects a Christmas village and for years I've been getting him buildings from Canadian Tire, but the past few years, the scale has been all wrong. It was an abrupt change, and the quality also plummeted.
Certainly it must he hard for a store with a single price point, Dollar Tree everything's a dollar, to maintain that price without cutting quality over time.

Canadian Tire is more like a, hm, hardware store "plus", I guess. Better than Wal-mart, lots of tools, no lumber. And importantly to me, Canadian-owned and operated, and sells a lot of Canadian-made goods. But not, it seems sadly, their Christmas village stuff. :(
Nice.
