Panther Comparison

The original Roco Minitanks Panther and the Trident Panther F, both in HO 1/87 scale.
The Roco version is much smaller.
Shorter, narrower, and also lower.
This particular Roco Panther is missing the main gun.
Note the huge difference in the deck of the Panthers.
The lower front of the Roco is also too short.
Amazing how much models have improved in 40 years.

Grounded Luftwaffe

Luftwaffe, 1/72nd scale figures in soft plastic.
Nice selection of poses.
No machine gun, but these troops were often short on those.
Good officer with the arm straight out to fire his Luger.
Note the paratrooper style ammo pouches, a nice touch.  Often these men had a mixture of army and air force uniforms and equipment.

Luftwaffe Infantry

WWII Luftwaffe troops, I like that this guy is actually aiming his rifle.  Head down low along the sight line.
Advancing with the submachine gun.
This guy is observing, not actually firing because his head should be down low and cheek pressed against the stock.
Proper firing of the panzerfaust, it is supposed to go under the armpit.
These figures have a bit of flash all around which takes a while to remove, but other than that they are pretty good.

Luftwaffe Field Division WWII

Luftwaffe Field Division in 1/72nd scale.
Reasonable variety of poses, I think.
Not thrilled with wasting one with a guy being shot, but the others are pretty good.
Panzerfaust is a nice touch for late war.
As the inability to fly planes plagued the Germans more and more, they combed the air force to find men who could fight as infantry.
