Gas and Firepower
The American Army has taken to the field.
The Cobalt Blue US ARMY indicates the Chemical Corps.
The gas is dispensed.
It won't stop the robots of course.
But where gas fails, firepower will prevail.
The American soldier is known for his marksmanship.

Americans versus Robots and Martians
Now the Japanese have been replaced by Martians!
Martians have often had robots as helpers in science fiction stories.
This invasion could have happened at the close of World War One.
Or just before World War Two.
Martians are always great science fiction enemies.
Robots make good heavy weapons in place of tanks or conventional artillery.

More Robots
Americans versus Robots!
Take away the Japanese and now you have more alternate history and science fiction.
Airfix World War One Americans, so the invasion of Robots could have happened anytime between about 1917 and 1942.
The US uniform, equipment and and headgear did not change much.
Pulp novels and comic books were full of adventure stories with robots in them from the Interwar period until now.
A Japanese man with giant Robot!
Robots in the attack!
Everyone got into the Robot act at some point.
Same terrain, the US troops are the same and yet, by adding Robots we have three scenarios.

Japanese and Robots vs Americans
Add a few robots to the Japanese and now you have an alternate history / science fiction wargame.
In recent decades Japan has been a leader in robotics.
Perhaps if they had done robotics in the 1930's they could have had war robots in World War Two.
Here the Americans are defending against and attack by Japanese infantry backed by war robots!
Same figures as before, same terrain, but the whole wargame has been transformed.
