Custer's Last Stand

www.ykreol.com  The full set together.

This may be the largest single set of all new figures ever released of a single subject.

Painted up and placed on a proper base, this will make a tremendous diorama.

It sort of reminds me of the hospital scene in Gone With the Wind.

Thank you Yves for sending me this great set, I hope you sell a million of them!

Custer's Last Stand

www.ykreol.com the Custer's Last Stand set.

Another solder that appears alive, how long did some live only to die before help arrived?

The horses even have the US brand on the front.

I like all the gear on the horses.

I like the rifles on the ground too.

Being in the Army  in those days was often dangerous but a defeat of this magnitude was huge.

The final piece!

Look how huge this piece is, one piece plastic!

Custer's Last Stand

www.ykreol.com the new Custer's Last Stand set has some very complex pieces.

I don't know how they manage the undercuts in the models they do.

The sheer number of different poses in one set is astonishing.

I love the big moustache on some of these soldiers.

The set is useful just for the dead horses.

Some of them will find their way to veterinary units as wounded or dead animals.

This is an amazing set.

Each of these is it's own small diorama.

Bunkermeister Collection

A few WWII German river barges from Paul Heiser Models, in HO scale resin.

A bit of a break from Custer, with this collection of Opel Blitz trucks, enough to move an infantry battalion.  Roco Minitanks, HO scale plastic.  Also a few other items from Wiking and others.

Back in olden times, we did not have those new fangled Paul Heiser Models 251 halftracks or even the fancy Trident ones.  We had the Roco SWS halftrack and we made do, here an infantry battalion of them.

Lima Leopold railway artillery, with locomotives, box cars and other RR bits.

No showcase of WWII German vehicles is complete without more Tiger II tanks than the Germans ever had at one place at one time.
