Custer's Last Stand
www.ykreol.com is the maker of these 1/72nd scale soft plastic figures.
This figure looks like he is in a prone firing position, but all here are dead.
Part of Custer's Last Stand.
At the time it was one of the worst disasters in the history of the US Army.
No one thought that Native Americans could band together in such numbers that they could defeat the US Army in this way.
One of Custer's biggest concerns was that the enemy would get away
When troops attacked a village, the usual Indian tactic was to scatter.
This time the Braves gathered together and fought while the women and children struck camp.

Custer's Last Stand
Many of the troops have their guns laying beside them. These are 1/72nd scale plastic from www.ykreol.com
I don't know how accurate that is, if the Indians took all the guns are not, but it does make a more dramatic vignette.
The poor dead horses look very sad.
Some like this you can imagine were fighting from behind their horse.
The straw hats are authentic and kit looks good to me.
The cavalryman and his horse, inseparable unto death.
The shape of the bases gives the impression it is one giant jigsaw puzzle.
I did fool with them for a while trying to put them all together, I would not say they can't be, but it was interesting either way.

Custer's Last Stand
This is an impressive set by Ykreol. www.ykreol.com
Ykreol has some amazing undercuts in the figures.
Some of the troops, like this one, could be used as living soldiers.
This one too could be alive and would work for wargame play.
If this group is not yet dead, they soon will be dead.
Several of the pieces in this set are impressive mini-dioramas all by themselves.

Custer's Last Stand
Ykreol makes soft plastic figures in 1/72nd scale.
Their latest set, courtesy of my friend Yves, is Custer's Last Stand.
The set consists of dozens of dead and dying horses and US Cavalry soldiers.
It depicts those left on Custers' Hill.
Each one is a single piece.
