Slovakian Troops
In WWII the Germans set up several independent governments to rule over conquered territories.
Slovakia was one of those governments.
I took some of my HaT WWII Polish figures and replaced their missing heads with HaT German heads.
They often conducted anti-partisan operations against Communists.
It's only about a squad, but sometimes even a small unit can help set the stage for a whole wargame.

Gas Mask
Fujimi made a set of WWII German figures with separate heads wearing gas masks.
In WWII German rescue workers and other often wore gas masks.
They were useful for eye protection.
They also protected against the dust and debris and smoke from rocket launchers and fires from air raids.

British Mortars
As part of my junk troops revitalization program, I have put together some British troops.
I took a variety of troops, Airfix and Fujimi and swapped hands and bits around.
I made them up into mortar crews.
My Airfix British Infantry lack mortar support.
So these guys will be very helpful to them.

Indians
By WWII the people of India had been trying to gain independence from Britain for a long time.
When the Japanese captured large numbers of Indians and took over areas were many Indians lived they recruited Indians to fight the British.
They used a variety of British and Japanese uniforms and equipment.
These troops are mostly Atlantic Indian Army that have had their heads replaced in most cases.
I also added some Atlantic Japanese with new heads.
They use a mixture of Vickers and Nambu machine guns.
