Arctic Defense Headquarters

The troops have set up a perimeter and got the rockets ready for firing.
Northern Greenland, Canada, and Alaska are essential locations for missile defense against communist aggression.
Units like this are operating all over the Arctic Circle to guard the homeland.
Scientists and soldiers operating together to set up a missile defense system.
The blue uniforms are a special camouflage to help blend in with the snow and the open water.
Special missile troops wear white uniforms.
The reconnaissance troops set up a heavy machine gun to defend the flank.
The staff set up a headquarters.
Arctic Defense Headquarters U.S. Army is just a tent, highly mobile.
My table set up about 8 x 4 feet in my side yard.

It's nice to bring miniatures out to the snow. Placing them on the table gives a perfect background for photos. I also usually brings some out for outdoor wargaming during winter.
Is operations north of the Arctic Circle considered being 'Arctic Warfare'?

Yes it is! We only have 5 to 9 days of snow on the ground per year and often no more than one or two days. I even go out at night to get photos just because the snow is so short lived here. Thanks for commenting Roger.
