One would assume a dinosaur is more resilient than a human of the same size. So knock down for a dino would likely take a few rounds, but probably not many. OTHO a heavily armored dino might be mostly bullet proof, and a large dino might have so much fat that bullets would not penetrate vital organs in may places.

I guess dinosaurs can take some 7,62mm hits before going down?
Then a LMG with a high rate of fire becomes handy.
