Ghostbusters world headquarters.
With secretary Janine standing at the doors.
The ambulance out front.
And the whole team.
What's that down the block?
Across the street from the Scooby-Doo house, no lack of customers there.
Better look into this!

Ghostbuster Team
Once I found out the Ghostbusters Fire Station was a real fire station in New York City I decided I should buy the Johnny Lightening car and make the figures.
They are part of my super hero collection and so get mounted on black hex bases with a black name plate. The figures are not painted all that well, because I don't paint all that well.
They are simple cheap civilian figures I get off Amazon for $10 for 200 figures, in about 1/72nd scale. From arms reach away they look fine, I think.
I added a hard plastic Esci WWII Japanese Army soldiers backpack and turned it upside down.
I then trimmed it a bit and added wire and plastic rod for the "gun."
The secretary is a hero associate so she gets a 1/2 hex base.
The original four.
The fifth guy and the girl.
Look behind you!
The team with the car. Chicks dig the car.

Ghostbusters Ambulance
The Johnny Lightening Ghostbusters Ambulance.
While it costs about as much as a dozen standard Hot Wheels cars it is so worth it.
The graphics and details are great.
The car is mostly metal, and very heavy.
The markings and colors are excellent.
The tires are rubber and highly detailed.
It fits perfectly with the Funko Pop Town Ghostbusters Fire Station.

Fire Station
The Funko Pop Town Ghostbusters fire station.
The rented a real working fire station in New York City for the movie. Note the slime crawling out the window.
The building was cut in half at some point to make way for street widening but remained in service.
It is a well done sturdy building and would work well for almost anywhere in the world for the last 200 years or so.
I don't think the Ghostbusters sign can be easily removed but I may make a new sign to cover this one on a temporary basis if I use this as an actual fire station.
A nice flat roof is great for wargaming purposes.
This is one of the first Funko Pop Town buildings and yet is not very expensive. Some are highly collectable but this one has stayed reasonable. Search around if you want one because the prices do vary wildly.

Ghostbusters Fire Station
When I got into Horror I was thinking of a modest few buildings for maybe the Munsters, and Addams Family.
Both of their TV homes have been made as kits a couple times and are readily available.
But then I saw this, and the Johnny Lighting Ghostbusters ambulance and decided maybe I would start here instead.
This is based on a real working fire station in New York City.
Ghostbusters rented it from the city to film in, the original is so small because it was cut in half to widen the street decades ago, but kept in service anyway.
Like all Funko Pop buildings there is no work except to take it out of the box.
I intend to make a new sign that I can swap out for the Ghostbusters sign so I can use it as a fire station also.
My wife collects the figures, I collect the buildings. It's a symbiotic relationship.

Little Car
A new Matchbox car, it's a Citroen.
A little commuter car like a smart car.
Front and rear are about the same.
While that's cute it seem to me to be dangerous because it is not obvious which way the car is moving based on the shape of the vehicle.
Still, it's cute.
I plan on using it as a vehicle for my James Bond villain secret lair transportation.
I am thinking of putting it on railroad track, it fits perfectly on HO track as is.
It may also end up as the people mover in my Disneyland.
For that I may need to cut out the windows, but we will see how hard or easy that is to do.
Probably link them together with bits of wire to form a short four car train.
Shown here with some generic people.
