It appears that Revell, USA; has gone bankrupt and has been closed and sold to Revell, Germany. All Revell employees have been laid off and Revell has to vacate their Champlain, Illinois warehouse in 30 days or less. If you live near their, it might be a good idea to call or visit and see if they are selling everything off! Comment if you learn any more news!
Another sad day when a giant of the hobby goes under.

---Wow, that's a REAL shame.
I grew UP with Revell (and that's been close to SIXTY years.
I wonder WHO is left from all those great model companies from the USA?
Monogram?
Lindberg?
Aurora?
MPC?
Thanks for th heads up.
Carry on.
AMT?
Hope Revell (Ger) keeps making "the right stuff".
So many places don't sell models its hard for model companies to make a living.

---I know...what they have in "hobby" shops (today) pales in comparison to what they USED to carry.
Dad and I could walk into any hobby shop (long time ago) and spend an easy HOUR just looking at ALL the kits in every scale.
Have to confess the last few kits I got were from eBay (still in bags and complete)...and the prices weren't bad for any of them.
Carry on.
Back in CA I used to shop at Brookhurst Hobbies in Garden Grove, and Pegasus Hobbies in Montclair, both are great places and both sell by mail. I get a lot by mail and eBay these days. I also like Victory Buy for 60mm stuff.
Fidelis Models is my favorite, run by my best friend Randy.
