XR311
The US Army experimented with many dune buggy type vehicles in the Cold War. One was the XM311, which eventually became the HumV series of vehicles.
Matchbox makes a model called the Coyote 500 that is similar to many of these vehicles.
Master Model Maker Ken Overby sent me a package to help with the project.
The resin contents were well packaged against breakage.
Sixteen sets of wheels, in three different designs!
The key is the distinctive pattern of diamond shaped tread on the wheels.
The back of the wheels even has a locating hole for the axle. Great job, and thanks Ken Overby!
