My friend, COL Jim purchased a couple sets of the HaT German Ddkfz 251/1 halftracks when we visited Larry Pegasus the other day. There are two 1/72nd scale halftracks in this box.
As you can see from the illustration, the assembly is very straight forward.
The parts are flash free and there are not very many of them, just enough to make a good kit.
This thing would probably go together in about a hour of concentrated work. And kits this simple lend themselves to mass production. It even comes with both machine guns, not always the case with simple models.
The rear tracks are one piece assembly, as can bee seen here. A very good model.

I`ve build this one a few weeks ago. A nice kit and one of my favorites from this company. I only added seats and a dashboard.
I have just ordered four of these.
all we need is a in-expensive Pak 36
any ideas.(for the 3 platoon commanders) And about 11 boxes to make
a Companie, A 81mm Mortar would be a help (or 2). Maybe i should do some resin Mortars Pak 36s already need pulpits for Italeri M3 HT and also
some AA turrets for Hats Crusader.
But more impotantly there is A Sd.Kfz
251 D (so Late War) any day as the same quick build from Italeri.
ITALERI 7516 Sd.Kfz 251/1D
and these as well
ITALERI 7513 M7 Preist 105mm Howitzer Motor Carriage (2)
ITALERI 7514 Sd.Kfz 161 Pz. Kpfw. IV F1/F2
ITALERI 7515 Russian Tank T 34/85
ITALERI 7517 Kfz. 305 3 Ton Medium truck
ITALERI 7518 SHERMAN M4A3
ITALERI 7519 Carro Armato M13/40
ITALERI 7520 2 ½ t. U.S Truck
Karcuss
A lot of folks have waited a long time for this halftrack, I am glad it turned out to be a good one.
