Dune Buggy

Only four photos today and not very exciting.  A nice lady I know gave me a Barbie dune buggy that her daughter had as a child.  Probably about 25 years ago.  It's very similar to one my daughter had, but that one is long gone.

So I decided to make it into a military vehicle. First I had to remove the stickers, headlights, taillights, rear view mirrors, and dashboard.  This is a rear view mirror and the dashboard.

The John Wayne movie Hellfighters had this dune buggy in it.  The Barbie one is similar.

I probably won't configure a roll bar but I am considering an M60 machine gun on pedestal mount.

 Spray painting with my usual plastic primer.
