Paratrooper Wargamer Rules

Paratroopers have special rules to simulate what it is that makes them unique.  Paratroops are vulnerable to ground fire.  So they take ground fire and are eliminated prior to their actually being able to defend themselves.  Only those paratroopers who were not casualties in the initial ground attacks are able to return fire. 

Once those surviving paratroopers fire, the defenders can move a short distance in response to the dropping of paratroopers.  Once the defenders have moved, perhaps towards the attacking paratroopers, then close combat is resolved.

Paratroops casualties are removed

Surviving paratroops fire at defenders

Defenders casualties are removed

Defenders move up to five inches

Close combats are resolved

Stargate Airplanes

I stripped off the paint by soaking these in Simple Green for a couple days.

I repainted them with a spray primer.

I used the gray primer as the base color.

This one in front is the original paint job.

The blue is actually some sort of photo decal, and comes off easily.

They fly out of the Stargate and then climb quickly.

WWWII German Planes

Four WWWII German aircraft.

The Me109sg for Stargate.

The Germans developed a small stub wing, stub fuselage version of the ME109 fighter.

The plane was designed to be able to fly through the Stargate to give air support for German ground forces.

These aircraft were organized in flights of four planes.

They used standard very late war German markings.
