We Welcome You
Also from a dollar store, I think Dollar General.
It's a tidy little house.
Sometimes I have to repaint them or touch them up.
But this one is pretty good. Airfix Civilian running past.

Spring Building
The plan is to use them for OZ fantasy games.
But they would also work well for displays in an amusement park.
I find buildings like this at the dollar stores, often in the spring, and sometimes around Christmas.
This one has no "snow" on it so it's a spring building. Note the Airfix Civilian for scale.

Ambulance
I am making police, fire and medical for my American cities.
These big box ambulances are very common.
As the ability to preform remote medicine has increased, larger more capable ambulances are needed.
These big trucks are not as fast as some, but they carry a lot of life support gear.
In any civil unrest, civil war, Martian invasion, this type of vehicle would be on the front lines.
It's a nice model with a good heavy base.

Milk Van
My plan is to get several more and repaint them for my 1938 US Army.
I think they would work well as radio vans, ambulances, HQ vehicles, maintenance vehicles.
What I use them for will depend on how many I am able to get. They seem rather common but so far I only have this one.
This is not the only time this van has been made but with different markings.
So there is always ebay if the local stores are out of them.

MTV Van
It's a milk delivery truck that has been repainted.
These trucks have maintained the same design for decades.
The wheels are typical of wheels from the 1930s.
I hope to leave this one as is for my beach blanket collection. They often had bands playing in those movies and certainly an MTV van is a good update to that trope.
This vehicle is a special Hot Wheels with extra details, better paint jobs and really nice tires and mostly metal. So it costs a few dollars more than the regular one.

Buzz Kill
I got him at Dollar Tree.
I think it's a good power armor or spacesuit figure.
A while back I got a different pose from this same series, I swapped the head with a 60mm MPC ring hand figure. My plan is to do that with this pose also. Then they get repainted in satin moss green.

Sherman or German
My plan is to use this as a Sherman test bed vehicle.
The US Army used it to test a new engine, new suspension based on the German interleaved wheels used on many of their tanks and halftracks.
That's plausible because the US Army did put a German interleaved suspension on an M24 Chaffee light tank.
And all through the war they were putting in new upgraded engines.
And compared to this Roco / Heiser Sherman it is not too bad.
Note the size, and the rear engine deck is not too bad either.
Shown here with a German heavy halftrack recovery vehicle.

Sherman Pencil Sharpener
It is a metal and plastic pencil sharpener.
A Sherman tank with a strange rear end, odd tracks, and...
... and odd front end.
Still, it's recognizable as a Sherman tank.

News
Hello all,
My computer went down and I was mostly off line for the last two months. Fortunately I do blog ahead and so Bunker Talk continued for about 1/2 of that time. I should be back fully in business next week, and thanks to all those who have been checking in.
I have taken about 1,400 photos in the last month all of which have to be edited and posted. My intention is to go back to July 23 and begin where I left off. So read the "old" new postings to catch up to today and I likely will post more than once per day, so try not to miss anything.
Fidelis Models owned by a good friend of mine has several new exciting items in the pipeline that should be out very soon, so look forward to those HO scale and 1/72nd scale items that I will announce shortly.
Thanks for reading.

Two Austin Martin Cars
There is a huge difference between the two.
I always try to get 1/87th scale vehicles but when they are not available I have to look to other options.
But the often 1/64th scale Hot Wheels can be really huge.
1/72nd scale James Bond with 1/87 car.
