More Batmobile

This Batmobile is from the 1989 movie.

At least once a year Hot Wheels releases a few Batmobiles.

I think this is a good looking vehicle. 

One of my favorite Batmobiles.

Nice call back to the 1966 version in the exhaust.

If you only have a one person vehicle this is a good one.

It would do better with the red striping I think.

Maybe I will do that on it.
 

Batmobile

A new round of Batman cars has been released.

This one is from the animated series. 

I have only watched one episode of it and it was pretty good I thought.

While I think the 1966 Batmobile is the One True Batmobile, I think this is an interesting vehicle.

It has a very Art Deco feel to it.

The exhaust is a nice call back to the 1966 version.

From the top it looks a little like the head of Batman.

Here with James Bond.  I got a couple of these and I may repaint one in the 1966 black with red trim scheme.
 

Jungle Cruise and Jungle Warfare

During the Vietnam War anti-Americans raised the Viet Cong Flag at Disneyland.

They created such a disruption that hundreds of police were needed to respond.

They closed the park early due to the disruption.

It was horrifying to think that people would support our enemies and disrupt a major business that catered to families and children those days.

Move to the Target

Moving in the jungle.

Bringing up the heavy weapons.

Ready the RPGs.

They spot the target.

And move in.

Troops moving forward in the forest.

Green uniforms in green trees.

This is a simple set up.

But I think it works well.

And by peaking through the gaps we can see the figures.

The troops are still visible enough to make good photos.
 

Orion and Esci Together

Orion on the left and Esci on the right.

The Esci guys seem a little thinner but not bad.

Similar poses but with different headgear, different packs, and shorts versus long pants make very different figures.

Esci vs Orion

Troops in the forest advance.

I find the carpet makes a good base for troop set ups.

The trees are Marx and can be cut apart for separate trees.

I have some separate and some together for maximum flexibility.
