Roco US 2 1/2 ton truck, HO scale, 1/87.
They are rated for 2 1/2 tons of cargo cross country but could carry five tons on the road.
This is an old Roco, model number Z-115 and I got my first one in about 1963.
Lots of play value in the model, and the canvas comes off.
The model is sturdy and comes put together just like this.
Seats in the back, but some versions don't have the seats or the little holes where the seats go. They are supposed to be used to carry the radio van.
This little gas can is often missing from the truck model. It has a little pin on the bottom of the gas can that fits into a hole in the running board.
Nice truck model, I have a lot of them and never miss an opportunity to pick up a few more.

I always thought the Roco trucks were kind of cheesy - too many loose parts, too many fragile pieces, and too many warped moldings - so i much preferred the old (1960s) matchbox mercedes cargo truck with matching trailer (painted suitable olive drab, of course!); so used those for cargo trucks with my minitanks instead. Also, loved the Hot Wheels 2 1/2 ton when it came out
I liked the Roco 2 1/2 ton, but it was a bit fragile for the time, probably because it was more detailed than many, that windshield got broken a lot.
The Roco rear truck beds will fit on the Hot Wheels body and so you can make van, and tanker version of the Hot Wheels. I use the Hot Wheels version as a modern truck, late Cold War, about 1980 until they went out of service.
