Tenting Tonight
I got a few Sibley Tents a while back and decided it was time to paint them up.
The US Army used them from about the Civil War until at least World War One and probably early WWII also.
In 1940 the US Army was expanding so fast they could not build barracks quickly enough to house everyone.
Troops often had to wear WWI era uniforms.
The Army tried to use tents in the South were it was warmer and usually did not snow.
