Two KITT Cars

Hot Wheels makes special collectors editions of some cars.

The cardboard backer and the plastic bubble are much thicker than the normal cars.

The models inside are better than the usual models.

But the basic model is the same.

The big difference is the wheels.  The wheels are rubber and have treads on them, much nicer than the regular model.

Often the paint jobs are better, but since the KITT is just a shiny black car this one is not much different.  The rear license plate is different, and both versions have a nice, legible license.

The base on these cars is also metal, compared to plastic on most of the regular cars.  You can see the treads on the tires in this view.
