54mm size Mars US Marines for Vietnam. Good sneaking around pose.
Odd thing about the set is that I don't think they are all Marines. This guy seems to have the Colt Commando which I don't think was used by Marines in Vietnam. He also is wearing a boonie hat which is more typically US Army attire and finally he is not wearing body armor, which most Marines did wear in combat. I think this guy is a US Army Special Forces soldier.
You can see the bulky body armor in this guy, and the helmet, clearly a Marine. Nice firing pose for the blooper. He has a pistol for his Colt .45 pistol too, nice touch.
Marine with M14 rifle in the standing firing pose. The elbow up was common in those days. The rifle barrel had a bit of flash and still needs a bit more trimming.
Another figure that I think is US Army. This time he is armed with the M3 Grease Gun. It has the conical flash suppressor common in Vietnam, and he is not wearing body armor. I think he is another US Army Special Forces soldier instead of a Marine.
Oddly this kneeling machine gunner is firing left handed. And where is his ammo? A good sculpt let down by using the left side to fire.
Another Marine, this one with his body army and M16 at the ready.
This Marine has an M14 and is advancing, good pose.
