Jeff at BMC sent me this set to review.
BMC is making a number of D-Day related sets. These are mostly recasts but I have been told there are some changes.
I never had the originals, so I don't know what's different.
World War Two era Canadian flag, the maple leaf came about in the 1960's. It's a very nice flag model, it's plastic with paper flag markings. The flagpole is pretty tall.
The set comes with this generic pile of rocks. Flag pole base in back.
This German officer looks a lot like Rommel to me, he was not at Juno Beach on D-Day.
Nice German machine gun, firing around the rock. The team seem to be working together.
You get one each of the German figures but three each of the Canadians.
This guy is a Canadian Commando, hence the beret. I plan on using him post war as a US Green Beret, I like his Thompson. These figures are a soft-hard plastic. They had no flash on any of them and they all stood up well.

Looks like a decent find to me.
Carry on
Not bad, certainly useable.
