Late in WWII an understrength platoon of German paratroopers sees a light in the sky and then a strange disc shaped craft landed on the ground near them. The lieutenant deployed his troops to be able to engage the enemy, if this craft is enemy.
The lieutenant was proud of his troops. They were understrength but all his men were veterans. All of them were jump qualified. But they were still just a couple large squads really. He sent a runner for reinforcements. He really wanted aircraft, tanks and artillery, but at this stage in the war, even more infantry would be hard to come by.
The men hear the sound of vehicle engines, two SdKfz 222 armored cars are approaching!
The men are heartened by the presence of reinforcements. They are now more sure of victory, it this is an enemy craft. Is it the Americans? They are known for their innovation. Are the Russians making such a craft? With their massive numbers this would be terrible. Or the British? They have been experimenting with jets. But it is the Germans who have the most advanced rockets and jets. If it is theirs, then why don't they have German markings?

In addition to the armored cars, a King Tiger tank approaches too! Certainly this tank will be able to defend against this threat.
Tiger II by Roco. Paratroopers by Caesar Miniatures, and UFO by Pegasus.

LOL...that reminds me of that old 50s sci-fi movie: The Bamboo Saucer!
Nicely done.
I love the Bamboo Saucer. We must have the same video collection!
