Color Change Car

This car is designed to change color depending on the temperature.  Pouring cold or hot water on them changes the color.
The legal stuff.
This car is in good shape, the white along the side is glare.
This is a very space age vehicle.
It has a nice bubble top.
More glare on the side.
Lots of headlights.
Rare chrome undercarriage.
Good view of that bubble top.
This car has been done in a bunch of colors, I love the red. Very Christmas.

Batmobiles in Three Colors

The red Batmobile is pretty good from the top.
The bottom is plastic.
Here is Robin and Batman with the more traditional black Batmobile.
Now with the red car, they look good with it.
Here they have four of them.
I think Batman actually has a host of the same car in stock so that if one if damaged, stolen, being serviced, or otherwise not available they can deploy one of the other ones.
Black and Red and Batman and Robin
This blue Batmobile has also been in shops recently.

Batmobile

Red Batmobile from the TV series but in red not black.
Hot Wheels has done at least 20 different color variations of the 1966 Batmobile.
I buy all of them as they come out in the stores.
They are useful for different purposes.
This has a nice Christmas / Santa Claus vibe to it.
I managed to get several of them.
It's a nice little car.

German War Hero

Caesar Miniature WWII German soldier in 1/72nd scale.
Months ago I took a large number of WWII German vehicles, troops, and guns and terrain outside to take photos of them.
My patio is gravel and the rocks are rather large for gravel.
This guy apparently fell off the table and disappeared into the gravel.
This is not intentional weathering, the dirt and scruffiness is natural.  I suspect he may have been stepped on at least once and ground into the gravel.
However, he is now listed as returned to duty after having been listed as Missing In Action for months.

He will be cleaned up and probably a little bit of the scruffed plastic cut off.

Deploy the Gun

The Milita have been called out for exercises.  These are Imex, and Eagle Games figures, some with head swaps.
The artillery unit has only one gun and enough crewmen so that some can handle supplies or provide infantry cover.
The men wear kepis and the officer wears a floppy hat.
The steam tractor team.

Militia Gun

The people of the United States have a right to keep and bear arms in our Constitution.
Until the 1930s that essentially allowed almost anyone to own almost any kind of weapons they wanted.
Local militias often had all sorts of weapons, including artillery.  This militia unit has one gun and one steam powered towing tractor.
Artillery development was very fast in the 1890s and sales were good.
Local militia units, and even National Guard units had all sorts of uniforms, even those that were rather retro for the American Civil War and American Revolution.
My artillery usually gets a store of supplies as an ammo dump.  This one is mounted on a sheet of plastic and flocked with Woodland Scenics grass.

Figures Want List

Every few years I update my list of 1/72nd scale soft plastic figures that I would like to buy.

I spend a lot of time doing head swaps and other conversion tasks to make figures that I can't get otherwise.

Once in a while I like to publish my "Want List" of 1/72nd scale soft plastic figures. Redbox tried to do the cops and robbers on my list, but I am not satisfied with their efforts, but they would be a good starting point for anyone else doing them.

This is my present list. Please add your comments to suggest future figures you would like to see.

Schneider Gun

Schneider 75mm gun.
Guns like this were sold all over the world.
I only got one from BUM I think, it was in a collection I got.
I decided to paint it up as a US Army, militia gun.
It is not a great model, but it painted up okay.
I used the colors popular for US Army weapons at the end of the 1800's.
It looks a lot like most WWI era guns.
As far as I know, it was never used by the US Army.
However, civilians, and local militas could purchase their own.
