Race Car Track Truck

This is a Dodge Ram flatbed truck.

As part of my American Cities project I am building an auto racing track.

That means I need vehicles like this that can maintain the race cars.

Or respond to crashes on the track.

I think this will do nicely.
 

Van

This big van is very generic in design and vans like this one have been around for 50 years.

Then I realized, its just like all the police and SWAT vans I have ever seen.

So I need to buy a bunch of these, strip the paint and repaint them as SWAT and Police vans.

At only $1 it is an excellent value.

Now I just gotta hope I can find them now that I need them!
 

Big Van

This van is exactly what I was looking for.

Matchbox makes it in several color variations.

I have been looking at it for a couple years now in the stores.

And only recently picked one up.

Once I got it home, I realized why I need a bunch of them.  Of course.
 

Off Roading

It's been a good haul for Hot Wheels and Matchbox vehicles recently.

Lots of military style vehicles.

And plenty of four wheel drive types too.

I don't think I will try and get a platoon of these.

Mr. Bond says one is enough.
 

No Close Shave

I never heard of these little buggies until recently.

I started watching a youtube channel about towing these out of the ditch.

They seem to break the front steering and suspension a lot.

It's an interesting vehicle.

I only got one.
 

Two Jeeps

This would be a good vehicle for the GI Joe Adventure Team.

It has that outdoor off road adventure look.

It has room for four and ample cargo space.

It would also make a good light military vehicle too.

Detailed undercarriage.

Good looking wheels too.

Here with it's green brother.

Nice team of vehicles.
 

Do You Like Jeep Gladiator Movies?

New Jeep.

This is like the green Jeep but rather than having the doors installed the doors are off.

And the bed is empty.

I think this Jeep will simply remain as a civilian vehicle.

It's a good looking model.
 

Car Conversion

I think both cars will provide parts and maybe a back seat from a third vehicle.

I will also have to do a repaint of course.

First job will be planning, followed by disassembly and paint stripping.

I am hoping for an easy job.
 

Jokers Under

Hooligan by Hot Wheels.

This car will help me make my Joker Mobile.

It has the fenders and running board that the Joker Mobile needs.

I will combine it with the Bone Crusher car.

Should be a fairly easy conversion.
 

Surfs Up

In the Batman 66 TV show there is one episode where the Joker drives a cool surfmobile.

Surfs up, Jokers Under is the title.

It is similar to this car but with rear seats and fenders and a running board.

My plan is to use this as the basis for a conversion to that car.

Fits nicely with Mr. Bond.
