GI Joe Action Soldier Equipment
When Mrs. Bunkermeister and I retired we made sure to have a sink in the laundry room.
That way I don't have to make a mess in the kitchen with the hobby stuff.
When I went to the recent Kentucky GI Joe Show, I picked up a lot of backpacks, body armor, sleeping bags, and a duffel bag.
Some of them were very dirty, so they got a washing.
They got soaked for a couple hours in Oxyclean and cool water.
Then I rinsed them until the water was clear. They were very dirty and the water was very brown with dirt.
Then they all got spread out on an old towel on top of the washing machine lid. After drying they were nearly as good as new. Some were a bit faded, but I am okay with that.
