Wheels vs Tracks

Tracks versus wheels.

These vehicles will work as just generic off road vehicles.

Explorers, surveyors, miners, and other similar types of expeditions.

These wheels are from generic die cast vehicle that was in rough shape and destined for the spares box.

The vehicle really looks different with only a wheel swap.

The old tracks are going on a US Army truck.  Nothing is wasted.
 

Snow Tracks

Matchbox vehicle with special tracks for snow.

The Army tested these decades ago and they are sold commercially.

The idea is you take your wheels off and replace them with tracks in the winter time for better snow traction.

It is expensive for what you get but for some purposes they are essential.

And in spring time you switch back to wheels.
 

Junkanoo Fish

Nemo fish, found at Dollar Tree.

It will end up on my Junkanoo floats.

I wondered how hard it would be to remove the fish from the water.

Snapped right off without tools.  I may use the wave for my Beach Blanket surfers.
