Some of my artillery is in the queue. It's due to have the wheels painted and the ground cover installed. The 37mm mountain gun was deployed in units of three guns, here they are!Painting Eko 2 1/2 ton truck passengers that will be redeployed as Jeep drivers.Roco 5 ton tracker, ready for wheels to be painted.Van ready for wheels to be painted, and the landing gear adjusted.Metal model road grader, after about 30 years it's time to paint it and paint the tires.Roco trailer, note the front landing gear is a trailer hitch! Put a drop of gap filling super glue in the center and paint the rim black to make it into a decent replacement for the missing piece!

Mountain Gun
T32 gun on T9 tripod. In WWII US Army Mountain Troops in Italy used this cut down version of the 37mm anti-tank gun.It was mounted on a .50 caliber machine gun mount.Roco makes the 37mm ATG and a 50 caliber machine gun mount.I rummaged around my spares and found a small mounting, cut down a damaged Roco 37mm gun barrel and a new model was born. The mount was a bit narrow so I cut and then filed the inside between the horns to make space for the gun.Besides cutting down the barrel length, I also thinned out the side of the barrel where it fit into the mount. It looks pretty good next to daddy. It is part of my project to use up the scraps, bits, and crumbs in the collection, repair the damaged, and clean up the clutter.

Toothpicks and Palm Pics
Dollar Tree cocktail stirrers. They were about $1.25 per pack of ten, so 13 cents each.Day glo green and flat, styrene plastic. My plan for the Kiss Kiss Club was to make slots in the base and push these into them. Then they can be removed so I could re-arrange the set up as needed.Decent detail on the trunk and okay on the fronds.Since these are decorative palms I figure they could look the same in a nightclub setting. Painted up they look okay I think. Unpainted they may end up decorating some casinos, hotels or villain lairs.I like using these kinds of picks for model work. Bamboo shreds and causes splinters. The plastic end makes them easy to find on a crowded table.Longer than most toothpicks they are more versatile. Nice and smooth, and sharp.

Deora
New version of an old Hot Wheels. The key difference is the removable surfboards on the new white version. They both look cool, but I like removable surf boards.Bottom side, these will be part of my Beach Blanket collection.

A Study Red and Blue
New Hot Wheels vans that remind me of paintings by Piet Mondrian. The vans come in two basic colors red and blue, but the designs are essentially the same with many of the colors reversed..These seem very common on the pegs in the stores. There is also a Morris Mini looking vehicle with the same style of decoration. I did not get any of those. The legal stuff.Rear and front view. These vehicles are rather low profile.I got several of each, I may use them for a Batman or other villain but I have not decided yet.Bottom to top. Here's the lineup.

The Piranha
I am working on lairs for my various supervillains. This one is a mock-up for the Piranha. My intention is to make it a Polynesian themed Batman villain. They have English, Cossack, and others, why not something different?Various vehicles, and bits and pieces that I have collected so far. Obviously I have a ways to go, nothing is painted yet and I am still in the planning and early collecting phase.

Batman Villain
I got this Piran-ahhhh a few days ago. It's a monster truck. In the Batman 66 universe sometimes the super villains try and influence the youth.Joker corrupts high school students in one episode and in another he goes after surfers.Louie the Lilac goes after the hippies.I am thinking the Piranha could be after the Monster Truck kids.Racing has always been popular with youth. Of course the first Monster Truck did not get built until 1979, but I don't let details like that stop me.This other little Hot Wheels car is the Piranhas street ride.
