M60

Roco early M60 tank.
One of my favorites.
As a kid I purchased them and used them for WWII, because the package said USA.
It did not say when it was used.
105mm gun, cupola on top with .50 caliber machine gun.

I always these were much cooler looking than the M60A1 version; more streamlined and sleeker; the A1 always looked clumsy and ungainly to me.

I dunno. those USMC A1s, especially with reactive armor, are pretty beautiful to me. Especially when your platoon of Marines is pinned down at a bridge near Havana in '88 and they're the cavalry...

Yes, banzai, I think they are the ultimate M48! The plain Jane M60 looks like they made the most beautiful M48 tank ever.

Forper, I think that's a case of if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you are with.

Hello Hal, circle of life. I commented on MWAN and now I am honored to have you comment on my blog. I did not know you were a tank driver. Very cool. I suppose that explains the real reason the Soviets did not come through the Fulda Gap.
