The heavy artillery has trucks with ammo at the ready. Trucks not Jeeps because the ammunition is larger and heavier.
Trucks near HQ to carry the switchboard and tentage.
Troops see movement to the front.
There it is!
Enemy troops in the distance.
And an iron giant!
