there never was enough accessories in the bag I had to fill in with Marx accessories and sometimes toothpicks or matches or what else I could find
Gary you are so right. I used toothpick myself. I liked the plastic ones when I could get them.

It's sad that MARX never sold JUST the accessories (had to get a playset for those...that's what I remember).
MPC never sold JUST the weapons and gear (figure kids would LOSE them easy enough).
And, considering the way they were all molded, the accessories were fairly close to scale.
Also...back then, the PRICERS were right, too.
Carry on.
Many of the accessories are now sold as recasts, pirate, ACW and others, but still no WWII era sets.
