Atomic Cannon

For years I have wanted an Atomic Cannon for my 60mm troops.  This Ideal one is great and the guy wanted $300 for it at the show.

I spent all my money and then my wife gave me an extra $45 to buy an armored car that I wanted.

I told her about the atomic cannon, but since I had already over spent my budget I knew I would have to get one some other time.  I already have an Atomic Cannon, but it does not have the shells or the two trucks.  Getting a complete one in great shape would be nice.   I had spent much of the show time with my friend from War and Peace Hobbies, hanging out and talking about army men.

My wife gave me the extra $45 to get the armored car, and I raced down to the show floor to get it., since there was only a couple minutes left for the show.  MRS Bunkermeister and I decided that since the show was over and I spent all my money that we should go to lunch.  We waited for service for about 20 minutes and no one showed up.  So we decided to go to lunch at a nearby restaurant.  We walked down the corridor and I remembered I had to go to the room to get my car keys.  My wife said she would go use the restroom down the hall near the entrance to the toy show.

A few minutes later, I came back and I saw my wife walking down the hallway with a giant cardboard Atomic Cannon box in her arms.  It looked longer than she is tall!  It's the sort of thing that only happens in the movies.  She went back into the show and found the guy selling the Atomic Cannon.  She bought it from him.  As she handing him her credit card another man approached and said he wanted the Atomic Cannon.  She got there maybe ten seconds before him and she scored the Atomic Cannon!  We went back up to the room and I opened the Atomic Cannon.  It was great!

Later, I went downstairs and found the seller.  As I was thanking him for selling it to my wife the owner of War and Peace Hobbies, Bennett Willey came over and he said was the guy who was trying to buy it just after my wife showed up.  He was glad I got it.

Toy Show people are good people and I have the best wife the in world!

The Atomic Cannon looks like fantastic toy! But your greatest treasure is surely your wife.
