Cold War M723 3D

During the Cold War the US Army looked for a replacement for the M113 that would have more firepower and be more survivable.
The XM-723 was one of many vehicles the Army looked at to replace the M113 with the first one being made in 1975.

It clearly is an ancestor of the Bradley series of vehicles.
But the tiny gun turret later got TOW missiles and a chain gun.
This is one of my first purchases of an HO scale 3D printed model.  Note the rough surface on the back.
Once painted and from arms reach away it should look okay.  I suspect the new resin printers will make even better models.  This one is very durable and essentially one piece plus a separate turret.
It's ever very durable.  It's so hard I could not sand off the layers to smooth it out.  Still good for wargaming.
I think 3D printing is going to be a big thing for wargamers.
