Sherman Prototype T6 Tank
This is the US Army tank T-6.
It was the prototype that lead to the Sherman series of nearly 50,000 vehicles.
There were five versions, this one is has three .50 caliber anti-aircraft machine guns.
It had the suspension and engine of the Lee tank.
It was the tank everyone wanted but had to wait for and the Lee was built as an interim design.
The side hull hatches were deleted in the production vehicles and the cupola was changed out for a lower profile version without machine gun.
