Parts Prep AA Gun

I cut up some black plastic sheets, beveled the edges and scruffed up the surface to use as bases.

I coated them with Heptane to prepare the surface for glueing.

This is three sets of the Orion 1/72nd scale Russian AA machine gun set. Trimmed off the sprue and sorted into an ice cube tray.

Here are the crews ready for deployment.

I trim the bits and move them to the other side of the tray. This keeps the parts separate and ready for use.

Using an ice-cube-tray is a great idea to keep things sorted :)

Thanks Mojo, I have used it for years, cheap, durable.
