The German Army used thousands of wagons in the First World War.
The soldiers wore this type of headgear all during then war, particularly when not in active combat.
As the war progressed, the army became less strict about the type of horse and smaller ones were in use as big horses were used up.
This is a pre-production set of 1/72nd scale styrene plastic First World War wagons by HaT.
As a pre-production set the specifications, and color may change. The horses are on the small end of the spectrum but they are useable. The wagon itself, is perfect. It fits together without glue, and considering it is not a snap together kit, that's really good. As a pre-production set, don't look for them at your local store anytime soon, but start saving up now, because if you do WWI Germans, you are going to need a lot of these! Thanks to HaT for sending me the wagon.
