You do realize that you can still buy newly constructed real DeLoriens from the factory in Ireland.
Some friends have one they bought after after the wife destroyed the Tesla (by driving the 4WD through the charging cable while it was being charged - repairs and parts would have cost more than the Tesla was worth). Seems the factory had enough parts for a few thousand DeLoriens when they folded/stopped manufacturing and now they just assemble them to order.
It must be terrible to be 'well off'.
