Pegasus just released their new WWII German 75mm le IG18 infantry gun, in 1/72nd scale. This is a mixed media kit with the figures being soft, glueable plastic, and the gun in hard, model type plastic. The figures include four in Heer, army uniform, and four in SS uniform, with helmet covers. You get two different crews and one gun per set.
I paid $10 for them at my local hobby shop, in Southern California. You also get a choice of wooden spoked wheels or rubber tires. Figures and gun were flash free, and perfect.
This kit has a lot of tiny little parts promising great detail. This will be an interesting contrast with the soon to be released HaT version of this gun. HaT is planning on the durable, wargame friendly kit with adequate detail. The HaT kit will be much cheaper on a per gun basis for those big battalions I so greatly love.

Will the HaT kit have crews as well as guns?
Jim.
The HaT sets will have four guns with four crew. Each gun will have a different crew type. So you can mix and match your favorite German crews. I think they are Afrika Korps, greatcoat and regular infantry.
The HaT sets are strictly designed for wargamers with few parts, and limited detail, but at one quarter the cost of the higly detailed Pegasus sets.
