Wheel Masking

Repainting a Barbie Dune Buggy.

Cover the wheels with aluminum foil to paint the whole body.  Then cut the foil off the center hub with an X-Acto knife.  Then add masking tape to the wheels.

Use your fingernail to insure the masking tape is tight around the wheel hub.

Press it down good and firm.

Then cut off the excess masking tape.  This way you can paint the wheel hub without getting much paint on the wheel.

 

Bone Scorpion

 

Halloween is a good time for cheapo horror sci fi stuff.

Giant bone scorpion.

Hollowed out.

Plastic has been given a black wash and looks pretty good, I think.

Only $1 at Dollar General.

Skeleton Front and Center

 

These figures are pretty good front and back.

A reasonable assortment of weapons too.

Shields have a texture but not a design on them.

Painted up I think these would look great.

Not that I am likely to paint them.

I think this is a scythe.

And this guy almost looks like a ring hand figure.
