Safe Atomic Bombs

Vice President Nixon receives a special briefing from the Doctor about the new stocks of Atomic Bombs. The Atomic Testing Base also assembles Atomic Bombs, and it preparing a new one for delivery

The Vice President is very interested in the new bombs and is enthusiastic about the tour.

Some of the Generals are conferring about the new bombs. This will be the most powerful Atomic Bomb ever fielded by the US Air Force. A bomb of this magnitude will require careful study to insure the targets are selected that will require a bomb of this ability.

These mighty weapons are to defend this great nation and our allies against the aggression of the godless Communists. Weapons like this are too powerful to be entrusted to any state, only a nation as morally superior as the United States should have weapons of this type.

These bombs are inert at this time. These scientists are preparing the bombs for the receipt of the atomic material. Until then, they are perfectly safe.

60mm OPSEC

Since Prime Minister Churchill announced the fall of an Iron Curtain on Operational Security against the Soviet Union has been a must. The technological advantage of the West is the constant target of Communist spy's. OPSEC is needed to protect new missile systems. This experimental mounting of a new surface to surface missile is too secret to display in public.

In the future, warfare will be fought in the dark reaches of outer space. Missiles mounted in the high ground will rule the world. The first high ground will be surface to surface missiles. Next will be orbit. Later those who have the bases on the Moon will control the Earth.

Even a mundane piece of support equipment, like this small resupply missile towed by the common Jeep can provide important information to the Reds. American technological advantages are the edge we have to counterbalance their numerical advantage.

More Highlander Photos

A few more photos of the HaT Colonial Highlanders. Very nice figures, totally flash free. This is three quarters of the set. These are 1/72nd scale plastic figures and brand new.

HaT Colonial Highlanders on Bresica Miniatures terrain. They look very nice with this terrain.

A ground view of the Highlanders. Nice firing poses. I got a few toy palm trees too.

Men peeking through the firing slots. These troops are just made for this terrain.

The pipers in the background keep up the moral while the other troops shoot.

Pipers and the poor bloody infantry. The pipers with a head swap would work for many Commonwealth and US Armies. Another great set from HaT.

HaT Colonial Highlanders

As part of their massive commitment to British Colonial, HaT have just released their 1/72nd scale Colonial Highlanders. These are some of the figures Airfix should have done back in the 1960s.

These figures are sculpted in the same nice size and style as their other British Colonial series. You get four sprues just like this one.

These line drawings show the figures quite well. You get four of everything. There are no specialized troops other than the Piper.

The poses are generally good action poses with plenty of shooting and advancing. There is also one marching figure pose.

Note the tiny hatch marks on the kilt. For those of you who paint, this would make it easy to paint the plaid. This is a great set, more photos later.
