Infantry and Tanks And Such

Eagle Games American Civil War figures sprue.  The colors on these are rather washed out in the photos, each of the sets on today's blog are of a nice uniform color plastic, and slightly darker than they appear in the photos.
Mostly men standing and firing with rifles, and cavalry with sabre or carbine.
The set includes five 12 pounder Napoleon cannon and two flag bearers.
There are no crews for the guns.
The Confederate versions are essentially the same.
The Confederate figures are essentially the same in gray.
They can be used interchangeably as Union.
Five cannons, 22 infantry and 11 cavalry.
These sets don't come with horses so you have to provide your own.
However Eagle Games makes a nice set of one pose of single piece horses.
The horses come in black and brown.
They used to come in gray but they have been discontinued.
This is the Attack! ground forces set.  Ironically it has airplanes, a large and small size.  The planes are sort of a P40 Warhawk.
There are about 36 infantry in one pose a mostly American WWII uniform and equipment look to them.  And there are 6 other slightly larger figures of the same design.
The smaller figures are 1/72nd scale and the larger ones are a bit bigger.

The AT guns are basically useless in 1/72nd scale being very small, not sure what I am doing with them yet, Santa may give the boys AT guns this year.  The tanks are essentially the US Army M2 Medium tank that preceeded the Lee tank.  Also in two sizes about 1/300 scale.

Eagle Games Sprues

More Eagle Games sets, these soft plastic items are cities, they are about 1/2400 scale and I use them for coastal cities with my ships.
The set also comes with these figures.  The monk with a banner works well as a Christian cleric in procession.  The man walking with a stick looks Mayan, or Incan to me but should work for many eras and locations.
The figures work well for 1/72nd scale.
This set has a round coast defense fort, buildings, trains, and 1/72nd scale figures.
The figures are African natives and Arabs on horseback.  The Arabs will fight my FFL and the Natives will likely be allies of Tarzan.
The buildings are going to be doll houses for Santa and the trains will be Santa toys also.
The star fort and round fort go with my 1/2400 ships.
These ships are generic for Attack! game.  They are some little patrol boats and weird submarines.
Here are aircraft carriers and battleships.  Both are rather small.  I will use all of these ships with my 1/2400 scale ships.  They work well as substitutes for the "real model" ships until they are observed by the enemy.  Makes it hard to tell what the strength of the enemy is.  The patrol boat is probably worth using as is as a generic patrol boat.

More Civilization

The Age of Imperialism battleship with the Civilization battleship.
Eagle Games, Civilization game pieces.  These are not intended as miniature wargame parts, but that's what I buy them for.  These planes seem about 1/300 scale judging by eye.  A few of them will end up in Luftwaffe bases, USAAF bases as recognition models.  Some may go to Santa's Workshop as toys for the children.
A generic self-propelled gun, also about micro armor size.  Not sure what to do with these.  Maybe Santa will get them!
The horses are really good but the riders are a bit small, these are horse and musket era figures with sword.
A small anti-tank gun.  Reminds me of the WWII German leichtgeschutz 40 recoilless anti-tank gun.

Conquistadors which will go with my Conquistador army.
