Slowing Down

The snow is so soft and deep!

The recent storm left so much fresh snow the mammoths must almost swim through it.

The men with spears are closing in!

Nearer and closer the danger comes.

They have selected a target.

Of the the medium sized mammoths near the end of the herd has been slowing down.

They had mammoths on the islands off the coast of California only 6,000 years ago.

They were a dwarf species.
